We are pleased to invite you to the «Endovascular treatments of PAD Workshop»,
which will be held at Hirslanden Clinique des Grangettes.
In the last decade, peripheral endovascular interventions have increased worldwide.
Thanks to new devices and especially to new revascularization techniques, complex,
as well as very complex lesions, are increasingly treated percutaneously. The endovascular approach is nowadays considered as the first line treatment option in many centers, when surgery is only reserved in cases of endovascular failure.
The aim of this workshop is to:
- Get the essential tips and tricks of complex peripheral interventions from the medical and catheterization lab personnel’s point of view
- Discuss about endovascular material and techniques, in order to safely and efficiently start or improve any endovascular activity
- Discuss about new techniques and dedicated devices used to treat complex TASC C-D lesions
Robert F. Bonvini M.D., interventional cardiologist and angiologist at Hirslanden
Clinique des Grangettes, will first develop different theoretical dimensions. A visit of
the catheterization-lab with a peripheral material review will then be conducted along
with four practical endovascular cases.
This conference is opened to interventional radiologists, cardiologists, angiologists
